As one of its core objectives of fostering peaceful development in Nigeria, the Guild of Muslim Professionals (GMP) will hold an October 1st Convention to coincide with Nigeria’s Independence Day and Diamond Jubilee.
Aiming to create a platform where solutions to the gargantuan problems of corruption, violence and a stunted economy amongst others, can be unraveled, the theme for the virtual convention is ‘Nigeria@60:Setting the Agenda for True Greatness’. Speakers include Justice Adewale Abiru discussing ‘What needs to be done’, Mr Kamar Bakrin discussing ‘When the oil dries’ and Mrs Amina Oyagbola discussing Nigeria@60: Education, Youth and Governance; Realigning the goals. The convention will be facilitated by ace journalist and TV presenter, Mr Sulaimon Aledeh.
The virtual convention will take place online on October 1st from 9am – 11am prompt on Zoom with a live stream on our Youtube channel. This first edition of the October 1st convention series promises to be very interesting, thought-provoking and motivating. Do save the date on your calendar.
